The Nova vas Library is located in a part of Maribor called Nova vas, on the right bank of the river Drava, in the immediate vicinity of The Nova vas Children`s Library. It is accessible for the physically handicapped and wheelchair users.

People aged 15 and over can sign up for the Nova vas Library by visiting the library or online. With a Nova vas library card you can borrow materials from all Maribor Public Library branches, COBISS Ela e-books and Audiobooks.

We also offer the possibility to borrow materials by post.

Membership also gives you free access to some of the electronic databases available on the library premises or directly from home.

The library has a wide range of books to choose from, for leisure or for professional work at school, work or just to satisfy a moment of curiosity. You can also choose from a wide range of popular and professional magazines and newspapers, which you can read in the library or borrow older copies to take home.
We'll take you into the world of music with our collection of music CDs. 
DVDs of fiction, documentary and animation films of different genres (drama, comedy, music, war, adventure, etc.) and cinemas (Slovenian, European, non-European, American, etc.) are available for home rental.

The library has a pleasant and imaginatively decorated space that offers you the conditions for more demanding study work or just a chat with friends. The library has space for group study and tutoring.
We invite people to the library for various lectures and exhibitions. 
Depending on the wishes and needs of the users, we also provide various forms of information literacy.
You can hire a small room for various presentations or lectures by arrangement.
