The Pobrežje Library
The Pobrežje Library is located in the Mercator Centre in Pobrežje Quarter. It is accessible for the physically handicapped and wheelchair users.
- The Pobrežje Library is a combined library for children, adolescents and adults, and can be accessed by visiting the library or online by all members of the public.
- With your Pobrežje Library card you can borrow materials from all Maribor Public Library branches, COBISS Ela e-books and Audiobooks.
- We also offer the possibility of borrowing materials by post.
- It is possible to pick up reserved materials in a packet which is located in the corridor along the outside wall of the library.
- We offer: books for children, young people and adults in various genres, specialist literature, large-print books. non-book material: DVDs of feature films, documentaries and animated films of various genres, CDs of fairy tales and poems, local newspapers and magazines.
- We organise and run a variety of events and activities for children, young people and adults.
- Use computers and scan for free. You can print documents. Your mobile devices (laptops, PDAs, other mobile devices) can be used to access the internet free of charge.
- We are one of the Safe Points - a UNICEF site for children and adolescents in need between the ages of 5 and 18.
