• Story hours for the blind and visually impaired,
• reading groups for the deaf and people with hearing impairments,
• bibliopedagogical activities for children with autism and other special groups,
• activities for the integration of immigrants (e.g. Albanian-speaking women), with support for learning the Slovenian language and maintaining contact with the native language,
• social inclusion projects for children and adults with recognized international protection,
• programmes to reduce social exclusion for people with mental health problems,
• informing members of disabled people's associations about what's happening in the library via the Disabled People's World website (in a format suitable for people with visual impairments),
• actively participating in the drafting of essential documents in the field of culture for vulnerable groups in the local community (e.g. Action Plan for Improving Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities in the Municipality of Maribor, etc.),
• supporting the employment of people with various forms of disabilities in the library, including programmes in the field of vocational rehabilitation.
